Logistics and AEO
SODILOG takes the ownership of the import process from your supplier’s gate or from the departure port. The import is managed by SODILOG with a carrier or freight forwarder of its choice in order to bring in the goods as quickly and efficiently as possible, either by road, sea or air.
Most of the time your goods are delivered to SODILOG warehouse. Depending on your needs and the timings your products can also be transported directly to you client. In any case the custom clearance is managed by SODILOG.
SODILOG operates with two warehouses for a total surface of 40,000 m².
The specificities of each of our cases are taken into account by our logistics teams, even though a common processing base exists for the arrival of goods.
We prepare our receipts in advance, based on the reference materials and catalogs presented at the start of each season by our clients.
Upon each receipt, we check the customs status of your goods and handle their customs clearance if we are responsible for it.
We unload the containers and trucks, check the quality and quantity of your goods, and then proceed to store them.
The preparation of your customers' orders follows the following process:
Order preparation (bulk or packaged) is carried out while respecting the logistical constraints and specifications of your clients (parcel/palette labels, type and format of parcels/palettes, maximum weight per parcel).
Control of our preparation and packaging.
Validation of the transport mode and communication of delivery constraints to the carrier (appointment scheduling, mandatory delivery date, delivery window, contact person).
Issuance of loading slips, delivery notes, and any other required documents (such as certificate of origin for exports outside the European Union, for example).
Shipping customer orders via the carriers we select.
Customer order preparations are also done on a case-by-case basis, depending on specific requirements for a given order (e.g., encoding, specific labeling, hanging or bagging items, etc.).

Authorized Economic Operator (AEO)

Since June 25, 2013 SODILOG is recognized as Authorized Economic Operator (AEO). This official certification was granted by the Customs Administration after a thorough audit of our operations, processes and workflow.
This certificate, granted by the Directorate General of Customs and Indirect Taxes, was awarded to us following a detailed audit of our infrastructure and working methods, in order to meet the very specific requirements set by the customs authorities.
In addition to the Authorized Economic Operator status, SODILOG holds the following statuses:
Approved recipient
Temporary Customs Warehouse
Customs Warehouse with Authorization to Process Under Customs Control
The AEO (Authorized Economic Operator) certification allows SODILOG to enjoy a privileged status within the customs administration, granting the ability to clear goods on-site and internally (in-house). This flexibility in customs clearance is a decisive advantage, enabling SODILOG to remain competitive in its operations and to gain increased credibility with its clients and suppliers.
